Not much info on the code on the google, but it is the knock sensor for cylinders 7 & 8. It’s not knock in the cylinder. From what I gather about that code, it’s either an issue with the ECU, the wiring, or the sensor itself. It’s most likely the sensor itself. “lower limit exceeded” is the code I got when one of my o2 sensors went bad.

Clear it and see if it comes back. Do a visual inspection of the wires, although I doubt you will be able to see anything. Those sensors are the ones in the valley, under the IM. Which also means that you might as well do a carbon cleaning and replace zee sensor

I cleared it. I will now pray for it to come back as that Labour would be half the carbon Labour. If it needs replacing I will finagle a half price carbon clean out of the deal thanks to my warranty paying the sensor Labour.

I think it will take a few key cycles to make the code come back.

I had a very similar knock sensor fault code last year. Cleared it a few times, kept coming back. Replaced the sensor and it fixed the problem.

Was it a big job to replace the sensor as Joe described? Not that we have the same car but just wondering.

Yes. You have to pull the intake manifold.

The code happened while you were crusing around 45mph so just keep driving normally to see if it comes back. That code means the ECM is not seeing a signal from the knock sensor when it is trying to run lean to save gas. They tend to throw a lot of ignition timing at it until it knocks then back off.
