2013 Volkswagen GLI, candy white, dsg, fully loaded. VWR motorsport wheels. I’ll post some pics tomorrow when I can take them with something other than an iphone.
Fun car! Rides great, corners great. Very zippy for city driving, a bit lacking on the highway, only place my A4 felt a bit stronger. Not planning on doing much with it for the time being outside of a couple minor aesthetic mods. And lots of vagcom tweaks.
One thing that I DON’T like is the lack of auto dimming mirrors!
I like those vwr wheels. They’re rebadged tdr’s iirc. Congrats on the gli. Gti owner here and they’re great dd’s. I hate the auto dimming mirror!

^^ I thought about picking some up for the GTI but the missus likes the Detroits for the summer and I have a thing for steelies in the winter lol.
Might be a placebic effect, but the car feels sharper than the gli’s I test drove, which had the 29lb wheels (bathurst I think). Steelies are cool in the winter, I really like the look of steelies on an audi for some reason lol.

Pretty neat vagcom mods you can do for the car. There’s one called Torque Steer Compensation, which is a setting from the v6 passat’s and higher hp cars, works really well for taking care of the fwd wheelspin torque steer crap that I am still getting used to.
