well we have stasis tune guys running much quicker than that…surprised he didn’t start a thread then as well. Stock record is 12.6. He’s slower than stock with his Stasis tune, and now in the heat of summer is slower than stock with another tune. Shocker.
So Arin is still trying to help this tool who has no clue and no class… It was thing to be frustrated and dissappointed but come on man act like a grown up… I would have quit trying a long time ago, although I realize that is not what Arin/APR is about… Dude needs to get a cable and do some logging and help himself… /end rant…
Arin knows Hansel is a dick and is just killing him with kindness. I love it.
jesus is that guy still at it? What a tool. I called thread lock a few days ago - I suspect that’s where this is headed.
Yeah, that guy is pretty clueless. At the same time his dealer probably isn’t helping much if he really spend 6 hours logging and all they could get out of it was the bypass valve was closed when it should be. Of course, I am sure the dealer is loving having to help Hansel. I’m sure that’s a blast…
exactly…not exactly a crack team helping him there
Hansel is so full of shit.
Oh gotcha. I always run at Great Lakes drag way, always at night. Never on hot days. I was planning on going tonight damn rain messed that up.
Well that’s good. I was there yesterday too. I ran a 10.46 in the 997 turbo then took my buddies z28 down the track, off the trans brake on 2 stages of the gas went 9.46 with no cage. Oh yeah and I did hold the steering wheel straight incase you were wondering. Didn’t make a difference when I was looking up at the sky.

Then this
Sorry, not being a dick about the steering wheel comment as you’re implying. It’s a totally legit thing to say. Sometimes it’s hard to control the car off the line. If it’s not perfectly straight, you’re losing time. I say it to every person I’ve ever coached at the strip. There isn’t an ounce of sarcasm or negativity to it.

I know sometimes it is, my 60 time in the z was 1.4 leaves very hard.
And as I told you in that email it was extremely rude. You don’t need to tell people to turn off the AC, roll up the windows and hold the wheel straight. If you don’t have enough common sense to do that you don’t belong on a track.
So back to the original question, if the car doesn’t do what it’s supposed too a refund is in order correct?

Found this interesting… the first one was posted yesterday and the other today… Funny I checked GLD’s site, you know the ones he always runs at… It was closed… Would love to see those 9 and 10 second slips : All the other strips within a decent distance were closed as well…

Ken, you beat me too it… lol
lol looks like we are on the same wavelength today. + Karma
ditto…
Hansel is lucky I don’t care
He definitely has an interesting way of dealing with problems…
Also, hansel was very hated, very dumb, and very full of shit in the B67 section back in the day.
His whole story sounds like bs. When I checked GLD’s Facebook around noon today, there was a post from “19hrs ago” that said the strip was closed due to rain. That would have been around 5pm when they posted. While there is a chance they were open for a bit then decided to close, Hansel’s story still doesn’t make any sense. What was he planning on doing? Drive all the way back to Chicago suburbs, pick up the S4, and drive back out to Wisconsin?
ya i don’t get his story either. doesn’t add up.
didn’t know he’s a former b67 guy. i also don’t remember him acting like this with his previous b8 s4.
Thread delete.
Ken, Sorry I was in a meeting did he address your points? What did he say?
I see now he wants to become a sponsor… High roller… I hope Anthony takes his money…

I don’t remember exactly what was stated but it was something along the lines of “I never said I was taking the S4 to the strip.” He then said something about getting private track time at GLD before open but never actually said that is what he did yesterday. Then swank jumped in and claimed I was trying to change the thread course into a deflective investigation of Hansel.
Hell, I want to see Hansel get his issues resolved. I’ve even offered him my vag-com and I was willing to do the logging with him but of course he never took me up on the offer. I wanted to point out his story was bs for the sake of demonstrating that he isn’t really doing anything to get to the source of his problem. Bitch and moan about Arin being “condescending” all you want but that still doesn’t fix anything. While it very well could be an issue with the flash and his ecu, I don’t believe a word he writes based on his conflicting stories and childish demeanor.
