Hansel is coming off like a real prick. He says everything is APR’s fault yet he hasn’t taken any logs, has no baseline, and has done absolutely nothing to rule out problems with his damn car.

I offered him my VAG-COM for logs. Think he responded to me but my mailbox was full on AZ.
I think he was just emboldened a little by swank and saxon who were making it out that APR had raped his dog.
Truth is if something’s wrong with his car, he should get it addressed.
He kept saying he was running ‘12s’ with his car when it was stock. Where is he on the list? that’s one of the fastest ever stock times.
^^ He claims to have run 12.79 before the APR pulley/tune. I believe he had the Stasis tune, though.

I haven’t commented because I can’t stop shaking my head. Why would an idiot think that it’s the software when there is so much success in the platform with the exact same setup? Someone with an ounce of logis should be able to step back and say “shit, I wonder if there is something wrong with my car, let me get some logs or go over it with a fine tooth comb”
Also, Saxon is a fucking tool. I can’t wait until Tony tries to “custom” tune his car with Meth or E85 and it get slower or blows up. I wonder what kind of customer support he will get then.
Has anyone brought up the ECU update that Audi is applying to B8 cars? I believe it’s a fairly recent campaign. Only reason I’m aware of it is because I received it after purchasing a new ECU.
Is it possible that this is affecting the tunes?

Looks like Arin replied, much nicer than I would have been… Now Hansel who is up in arms can’t even go to autozone to pull any codes or borrow a vagcom to do logging… LOL Dude has 300K in cars and can’t buy a fucking vagcom cable… Needs the shop to do it for him… What a joke really…
My car does not have the ECU update (24AS). I did mor logging last night and things looked a little better (topped out at -4 degrees timing pull versus almost -8 with my last tank of gas). I’m hoping to do more logging with the CTS intake later this week, and I am going to hit the strip again one of the next two Fridays. The plan there is to try my other maps, and then maybe do some 100 octane runs (all with logging).
I need to stop responding on my phone as I always spell something incorrectly… When do we get edit privileges?
Pretty sure Hansel is a young guy, might not even be out of college. He used to have an avatar of some young guy and girl at a club I think. I bet the 911 and X5 are his dad’s.
