Has anyone changed their 02 sensors themselves?

Induktion wants to charge me $500.+ to do all 4.
And since my DP’s are welded to the exhaust they want to charge me an additional 1-2 more hours of labor.
They say the DP’s have to come off to do the job.

JHMotorsports says they charge about $275. for labor and the DP’s do not have to come off the car.
Since I don’t live in california I can’t have JHMotorsports do the job.

I have the 02 sensor tool.

Has anyone done this without removing the DP’s?

Why are you DP’s welded? Yea you can do all 4 yourself, but the rear or front, i forget which is a pretty big PITA, one of them is straight forward but the other is tough to get to and I THINK its the front thats hard.

The reason its welded is because the sleeves kept leaking and making the baseball card in the spokes
of a bike sound. Kind of like a helicopter sound.

Is it $500 for parts and labor? That honestly doesn’t sound to terrible as most of that would be parts. I haven’t changed it myself, but I have heard it is a total PITA to do due to the location of one of them as stated above.

4 02 sensors costed me about $440. and labor alone from Induktion was said to cost $500. and an additional
$83-$166 because the DP’s are welded to the exhaust.

JHMotorsports said DP’s don’t need to be removed and their cost was about $275. for labor total.

I paid a custom exhaust shop $200. total for labor and it took about an hour and a half.
