Hello

Figured I might as well introduce myself.

My name is Mike, I’m 23, I live in WA state…blah, blah, blah

I used to race quads professionally, and have spent excessive time on the dyno, not to mention that I worked at said shop that had the dyno lol. So, I for one know first hand the importance of track testing over dyno tuning. I don’t know how many times I would have people throw a bunch of dyno numbers at me only to have me beat them to the first turn 9/10 times. So that was kind of my basis behind the Audizine post. Bench racing means nothing, put it on the track or shut up about it.

Anyways, looking forward to learning more here with some like minded (seemingly logical) people!

Welcome to AR bud.

Welcome to AR!

Glad to see someone else from WA! ;D

Car looks great! Any mods?

Welcome!

Thanks! I just added them in my sig. Hopefully will be adding piggies and JHM tune to that list in the next few months.

Welcome to AR!

Welcome and sharp looking car.

Welcome. Car looks good, reminds me a bit of my old S4

Bro so good to have you hear. Welcome welcome

Lots of us know a dyno is nice but real world tire to pavement action will give you the real results… AZ is filled with a buntch of guys looking to make themselves feel better about not knowing dick and never actually doing anything.

Building lots of cars my self and logging tons of dyno time its nice but not something people should accept in place of real results. There is a buntch of bentch racing superstarts over on AZ.

If you knew how badly some of the audi shops pimped 600whp dyno sheets…then failed to produce any reasonable acceleration times you would bleed from your eyes.

Ditch the cats and get the jhm tune… You will love it…

Welcome and clean looking car - nicely lowered.

looks pissed off, that B6. Nice angry and menacing example.

Welcome. It is great to have you over here.

The car looks great.

That’s what I was going for! Next for the exterior is to clear corner my headlights.

Welcome, it’s great to have you here and your car looks amazing.

Feel free to ask any questions about modifying you have. You will get all the right info here.

Looks sharp. If you can swing it go for the full exhaust. I’ve heard the res and non res versions on a b6s4 in person, both sound amazing

It’s so easy to do on the b6 (to get them off the car anyway). Annoying on the B7 in that you have to pull the front bumper off so it’s about 9 times the work. Otherwise I reckon i’d do it right away.

I originally was going to, but I DD my car and I carpool to work with another guy so I don’t want my car to be droney because I drive a lot of highway miles. My last car was a Frankenturbo b5 a4 that was straight piped back to a Magnaflow muffler, god that thing was loud…not looking to go the route again. Haha

I have the resonated Milltek right now, which isn’t exactly ideal, but I think doing piggie pipes will give me the sound I am looking for with a small boost in performance. Plus piggies are free. 8)

Yeah I was debating on which project I want to tackle this weekend, but I’m not sure yet…

piggies are great. I had them in my B7 S4 + Fast Intentions catback (res) and it kicked ass. With the JHM tune added, the car was fast too for a B67. Went 13.2 @ 106 in that configuration which was decent considering it put multiple car lengths on just about every other B6/7 S4 it faced. Stock, GIAC, APR, REVO, UNI, MILLTEK, MAGNAFLOW, AWE…didn’t matter. Crushed them all. Also beat a stage 2 B5 S4 pretty convincingly in a couple of fun pulls with a friend. He was a bit surprised.
