Help with troubleshooting a Sirius radio module.

I picked up a used satelite for my car. Hooked it up to the wires in the trunk and also swapped the can-bus connector located on the passenger side kick pannel area. Once everything is hooked up when i press the “SAT” button it takes me to the sirius channel 184 preview channel but im not getting any sound.

Tried to activate the module yesterday but the tech was never able to get me up and running.

Im looking to get some help to try and figure out if the problem is in the module or if its a problem with the radio / cables.

This is actually not a new issue. We saw lots of these before.

Sometimes its the body control modual. Then it can be a comunication issue. From what Ive seen the sirius raido people need to know your car has never had the unit. This should help them

Just an update. I was never able to get the radio up and running with the used module i had. Perhaps it was the module that was faulty.

On to the next project ;D
