Hey can any one post a pic with dimensions or a mock up of the intake inlet

I have been thinking about this for a while now I want make a walnut blasting kit to work for my s6. If I have a picture or drawing with the correct dimensions I can simply make a model of the opening to the intake ports. from there I can put a shop vac adapter with a blaster hole in the model fill it up with silicone rubber mold mix and poof my very own s6 carbon build up killing system. I could order this then adapt it.

Actually All I need is that little shop vac adapter I know I can get a bigger blaster that’s cheaper. I can make my own with a shop vac tube that is angled. Hmm well I will have to think about my options but yeah those dimensions. If anyone could post that up that would be awesome!!! They would be the same as the intake manifold outlet too I would assume.

oops this is what I meant to post the other link is just the silicon rubber mix. http://www.bavauto.com/fland.asp?part=B1100008&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cse&utm_term=B1100008-535I-2008-580865&gclid=CjwKEAjwg7yqBRCu5NmlgMm6i08SJADDEudZaafjgguauvV0kbrMclGKnSLd0xXICDATrEAdUrHqLxoCU0jw_wcB

So you just need the port dimensions. Width and length. There oval tho. If you can post a picture of what your adapting. I’ll try to get over to where I knows there’s a v10 intake and snap some picture and get some measurements

this shop vac unit is what I plan on adapting to work for the s6. I can print off a real to life sized picture then create a model and mold an inlet from silicone rubber to match the s6 this is designed for a BMW and most likely wouldn’t match the s6.

pics of your S6 first.

Just buy a BMW one and a hopper from harbor freight…don’t over think this one too.

lol Here Saki is a pick of my S6

I could take another of me in it with my shirt off if you want.

I’ll still try to grab you some dimensions.

If you do go that way I would love to see a good walk through with some before and after if you could do that.

Sure that would be great I would like to do it 0

thanks Paul! exactly that I needed!!!

You bought a car? I will only believe it when you post a photo of the car with that days local newspaper on the hood and a notarized letter confirming ownership

Paul F…worst layup of a measuring tape…EVER

what’s wrong with it? You confused by the metric system being American and all.

2.8 cm easy peasy more like 2.8 strong if your a carpenter but for my needs perfect I will actually make my model a bit smaller so it will be easy to slide in and out.

I actually love the metric system…I would have started one side on an exact measurement like the 11cm line, not 10.7…that was all I’m saying.

Being former mil, he’s probably well versed with metric

yes, in a literal as fuck world. However we are joking around.
