Kind of a hard one. I would check you BBK, see if one of the calipers is sticking a little. I’m not sure how it’s set up, but if the caliper guide pins aren’t lubed the caliper could bind up a little when letting off the brakes.
Try to come to a slow rolling stop (use the e-brake to stop) and then take off and see if you hear the noise.

No idea where it’s coming from. It’s just a noise. I don’t think it’s related to my brakes though. Sounds more like a screeching than a squealing sound lol (so difficult to describe sounds).
^ This is a good path. Separate the stop from the go. Try stopping on a hill and letting the car move via gravity (while out of gear).
like a loose belt would make?
Maybe. However, what would explain the sound only lasting one second. Would load tighten the belt I guess?

Front? back? left side? right side? engine bay?
Wheel bearing? I have had them make noise and only when coming to a stop or starting up. But honestly sounds more related to the brakes in some way.
Axel you aren’t really helping us out here. Can you narrow it down by doing some of the things mentioned.

I don’t know where the noise is coming from seeing as the only way I can make the noise occur is by driving it and when I’m in the driver’s seat, it just makes a sound with no clear indication of where it’s coming from.
I seriously don’t think it has anything to do with the brakes though. I have a lot of experience with brakes and I’ve never heard brakes make a noise like this. I’m thinking more something that might be flexing due to load from a dead stop. The second the car is moving, it stops and doesn’t do it until the next time I start moving from a dead stop.
I wonder if it’s related to the clutch.
Easiest way to test that would be to clutch disengaged and let it roll on a hill. Then try rolling with it in neutral and clutch engaged.
Unless you mean it’s only making that noise during the actual engagement?
That test wouldn’t work. No load. Gravity wouldn’t be enough of a load to cause the noise.
Well if it was clutch it would probably make it at every gear change.
I feel like you would be able to tell where it is coming from if you open all the windows.

Can you lay in front of the car and have a friend or girlfriend drive it over you…try to ignore the pain and listen closely for the sound.
Noise could be wheel bearing, clutch, possible drive belt, though I doubt it’s the belt. Maybe a tech could verify if this car can be put on a lift either asym, or symetrical lift, and with the suspension unloaded, fire up the car and replicate the condition/engage the clutch. then have a tech pin point the origin of the noise. this will be the quickest way to find it.
Are you feeling any shudder when taking off?
It’s a racing clutch. There’s usually some chatter which can feel like shudder.
