I finally cleaned my new place yesterday and I want to start decorating because it looks like a prison now lol. One of the things i wanted to do was get a few really nice pics of a couple audi’s, have them blown up and framed for my bedroom. What do you guys have kicking around? My neighborhood got totally pummeled with snow, seemed like a foot. Had to fire up the snowblower after two years of neglect, and I only had…surprise surprise…race gas.
Needless to say it fired up on the first pull, not even using electric start, and my brother, who crashed at my place for the night, remarked that it smelled like being at Cayuga…lol…

Does race gas increase the HP of the snowblower? What did you trap lol

I’m no pro, but aren’t cloudier days better for photos vs clear days with direct sunlight? I only say that because those rolling shots are really good.
Depends. Yes, the lighting in itself is better (more neutral, more reliable, less extremes). However, the effect and feel isn’t nearly as good. It’s gives off a boring feel (at least for me). The sun adds certain limitations but at the same time, it’s fun to play with.
Plus the sun brings out the gold in my paint… right saki?

The biggest problem with doing rolling shots in the winter is the cold. The photographer has to lean out the window of a vehicle going approx. 100 km/h with freezing temps (and probably way lower with the windchill factor of the moving car). My friend last year said he enjoyed the day but he was freezing his ass off.

Just need walkie talkies so the cars actually do what they’re supposed to instead of going to fast or going the wrong side etc. That was the problem last time… No communication.
