Hit a new milestone!

Bought the car last October with 35,000 miles - just hit 50k on Saturday on my way home from a 900 mile road trip. Only trouble so far has been the throttle body connectors and the passenger door lock actuator. Love this car!

It has been in the body shop this week getting a front bumper respray. Had a 9 year old clear bra that was fading and yellow. Pulled up some paint when I removed it. I’ll post some pics when I get it back.

Congratulations… Keep racking up the miles… Amazing gas mileage by the way. I’m guessing you drive in normal mode most of the time? Mine never really gets that high in the usual Sport mode driving shenanigans lol… (always in sport mode on long trips to help stay awake)

That was 20 miles from the end of a 900 mile trip on I-5. Car was in normal mode most of the time and speeds stayed in the 70-80 range. I was actually getting 23mpg until I got stuck in stop and go traffice for about an hour just before this photo was taken. I usually get 16-17 commuting back and forth to work - which is a mix of highway, traffic jams, and a bit of city driving.

50k at just over 50pmh. I like it. Now its time to put go faster parts on it LOL

The first thing i want to do is the JHM tune…

Do it. Worth every penny. The the intake spacers and exhaust.

X2 Its an entirely new experience with the car. you cant say that for any tune its got to be the JHM Tune and its really a night and day

JHM tune
JHM intake spacers
JHM exhaust and your in good hp good sounds and good power company wise.

21.2 MPG long term? solid My long term in my RS4 after 6 years was 14.4 mpg.

My running average is around 16-17mpg for my daily driving and commuting. 14-15 if I’m running it hard. the 21 you see in the picture above is purely highway, driving home from vacation.

Yeah I’m around 12.8mpg average long term on the meter I don’t reset. Sport mode driving has become an addiction lol

I’d LOVE to see an average per tank, instead of what seems like an average over the last mile. Can you change the sample rate?

I think you can change the update interval in vag com but for that car I’m not sure how to do it.

The Average in the #1 display is for the current drive. I reset the average under #2 every time I fill up, and it gives me the running average for that tank.

I do the same with #2 (hehe)… but it’s been like 10k miles since the last time I reset it.

I noticed the longer you go between re setting it the longer it takes to impact over all. So it must be mileage counting consistently

Yes - it is the running average since the last reset.
