What’s the problem with a 19" size anyway? Lower aspect ratio so less flex on the sidewalls when launching? Is that the concern?

That was my thinking of going with the tires that I chose (not that it helps my times…yet). I actually did some research and found some reviews on the tires that I got, they are cheap summer tires (GT Radial Champiro UHP), and are known to have a softer sidewall, which I figured would be good for drag racing on an awd car (softer sideway, stickier tread) looking at my experience level. I don’t like putting the wear and tear of driving to the tracks, plus the track damage/wear on my DD wheels/tires, so I decided I would go back to my old 18" wheels for track events (the 12.5 timeslip was with the old wheels).
