Considering meth injection is only used on street and never at the track, I don’t see that being a problem at all, as it has nothing to do with the run, race gas only. If I was running pump and wanted to run race tune then yes, methanol would be on.
Saxon, they did say “The AWE Tuning/G.I.A.C. upgrades are as follows”, headers are not either. I get your point however. They didn’t mention JHM lightweight rotors either which are a HUGE part in getting that 60’ combined with lightweight wheels.
Also, Pete’s dads car ran 11.62 on stock cats, so the headers debate is even more moot. I wold say the rotors played more of a part than the headers.
Headers are good to kill all the wildlife so they don’t get in the way going down the track. Why would AWE mention it, its not their product, they are just showing that their main products contributed to the fastest s4 out there.
Very true, Badtoyz who owns and RS4 said it sounded nuts. So I take that as a high compliment.
I wish they gave me something, I already bought all their stuff basically the day after it came out. They were extremely helpful diagnosing and taking care of my downpipe issue a while ago, so I gladly endorsed the article!
Now, if they come out with anything new down the road I might have to remind them,
Well, I am going to be trying my other fuel mixture this weekend as my timing wasn’t as high as normal for this past run. I might not even get a chance to run pump gas this season.
Timing only hot 24-26 this past weekend when I am used to seeing 29-30.
I am thinking too high of octane might have been bad.
