This is a quick post, but hopefully it helps someone. I struggled for an embarrassing amount of time (hours and hours) trying to get the factory hose clamps on the 90 degree coolant hose to the alternator. I ended up using stainless steel constant tension worm gear type hose clamps, and it took about 5 minutes.

I have had zero leaks and they have been on for 10 months. Not sure why I couldn’t get the factory clamps on the new hoses, but I’m hoping this can help someone else.
