WOW that is good to know
So you still need any more adjusting after qdm? I think mine was too soft. On my way back up north though and driving around in the city yesterday, i may leave it as it is and adjust stiffer before a driving event.
Im hoping to pick up a quickjack in July which would make it MUCH easier and quicker to adjust.

So it’s currently at the KW Clubsport factory settings of:
Front Rebound: 6 open
Front Compression: 5 open
Rear Rebound: 12 open
Rear Compression: 6 open
It’s as stiff as I want it for daily driving so I’m going to leave it at those settings for now. I have an HPDE weekend coming up in two weeks so I will try two clicks harder on the compression.
Honestly it handled those winding roads really well at QDM. One thing I do need is get a better front sway bar to cut down on the front body roll. The current front sway bar bushings are shot as well.
Got it corner balanced and it was almost perfect 50% cross balance so we didn’t mess with it. Total weight with me in the car is just under 3898 lbs. I weigh around 225 lbs so the full weight of the car is under 3700, not bad.
Nice man. My car couldn’t be perfectly corner balanced but I have taken weight out of places and added weight to others. Have fun with the RS4!

So I walked down that path as well. The stiffer front sway certainly helped with turn-in, and I was a bit faster because of it, but it just really locked down the car in daily driving. I reverted back the the OE front bar, and the hotchkis rear on the soft setting… It will help you become smoother with your lines and how you manage the weight of the car. Now I don’t miss the stiffer bar one bit. The added articulation is worth it on undulations, curbing, and just better feel.
Just my $.02
More broken parts!
In May I took it out for a track day. Had a blast and the car was excellent. Here’s some vidyas:

Towards the end of the second day, tragedy struck.

I was parked in the paddock and some knucklehead’s tent came flying at my car and smacked the fuck out of it. Fortunately the owner was cool and we settled up fairly.
The hood was damaged enough to need replacement and the bumper had to be resprayed. I took the opportunity to have the side panels resprayed as well.
The car came out looking great.

I took it for a 2000 mile trip. In Louisiana I had to change the oil and found this:

Something took out the inner rib on my Gates belt. I’m still unsure what exactly caused it, but that is a very strong belt because I think it was running that way for several months and several thousand miles. It may have been that way at the track event.

I finally installed the updated bank 2 valve cover. The cylinder heads are looking nice and clean.

Both rear O2 sensors have gone kaput, again. Thanks for the 1 year warranty on parts Audi. Other than that the car is running great.
Awesome news! Second vid is set to private btw.
