Hi everyone. I’ve been lurking on these forums for a while but have never actually made an account. Long time Audi fan. Have owned a 2004 A4 3.0, 2008 A6 4.2 and now I have picked up a 2008 Audi S6 with 6,000 miles. Reading the info dump of V8A6 the past few years, he convinced that I needed this car. Currently my ultimate 5 year plan with this car is the first ever 1000hp. Very ambitious I know but hopefully with enough money and sweat anything is possible. I have owned my S6 for about a year now and have done some very basic mods but the state is live in is very boring for anything aftermarket so it has been very hard to find someone not afraid to experiment.
Currently the only work I have done is CAI which I think I want redone because I feel like the are not far forward enough and a custom catback exhaust made by a local shop(think it might be better to switch to JHM), as well as some minor cosmetic and preventive mods I was able to do in my garage with minimal tools. Currently I’m also looking for a shop to get rid of my cats, but every shop has some type of excuse for why they can’t do it. I was told this was the best place to come to achieve my goal and find people willing to help.
Things I want to get done ASAP: cat delete, tune, equal length headers and decide whether I want to use this motor as the starting platform or maybe somehow by the grace of God find an RS6 motor for sale on German Ebay. Any help is greatly appreciated and thanks again!
