I’ve never been and I never hear anything bad. Strip clubs seem abundant which is always good but what else or which ones? Places or establishments to go to or avoid? Any other suggestions would be great!

I was born there but haven’t lived there in about 15 years.
Best places to party are Crescent Street, which is off the main street of downtown Montreal - Ste Catherines.
Great underground shopping malls are around McGill Ave.
If you’re looking for upscale, nice restaurants, etc there’s all kinds of great little places in Old Montreal.
Other places to go:
- Casino is on Iles Ste Helene
- The Olympic Stadium that hosted the 1976 Olympics - I would visit the BioSphere over it, but some interesting architecture if you’re into that
- Mount Royale has some great views of the city…

I am a Dorval (west Montreal) native, haven’t lived there since 86, but do visit family still. Crescent is fun, the strip clubs will not leave you wanting if you catch my drift. I would definitely plan on a trip to Ile St Helene , check out the circuit Gilles Villeneuve. Have fun, be safe
Montreal is neat. Mind the potholes. They’re so big, they need lifeguards after it rains.
Also make sure to spend some time in the old parts of the city. By old I mean 400 years old.
