I made a big mistake today..

KBB sucks IMO. I used the black book and auction prices to determin how much I want for the car, the dealer does the same. 36k does seem really good though.

That’s what’s holding me back man. I love the B8 it really is an amazing car. Just planning on getting married within the next 3 years and at that point id get back into an S4 or S6. Now though I kind of feel I wanna get it out of my system.

The TTRS would cost me ~175 bucks more a month with no money out of pocket- which I don’t mind for a new car.

I’m with the “get it” camp Pete, just not before you hit the strip with stage II though…I was counting on you to be the first 6mt in the 11s…!

I think you’ve made up your mind already. Congrats!

Drove on the other day… I agree bad move. So intoxicating so…I dont knkw the word for it but such a great csr

Good god you are looking at close to 75k+ tax for the same configuration in Canada. UGH

is that tech package including an iMac? Or navigation?

Tech package
Audi music interface wit iPod cable
Bose surround sound
Nav
Ambient led lighting
Rear parking sensors
Adaptive headlights

Aka the everything package. Nice.

Decided against it for the time being. My time with the S isn’t done yet  I’ll leave the car up for sale and I’d I get a good offer, I’ll consider. As of now though I’m sticking with it…

Ya I had this exact same dilemma a few months back with the RS5. I talked to my dealer and had the financials all in place. But at the end of the day, I just wasn’t ready yet to part with my S4. It really is a fantastic car. But I do see myself in an RS5 someday.

Anyway, glad to see you sticking with your car for a little longer.

Dealer info needed stat. ;D

One of the reasons I didn’t do the deal was bc of the dealer. They tried to pull a quick one on me. Email me if you want details.

Sounds like a good story… care to tell. I’m always curious about dealer tricks. I hate buying cars.

I test drove two of these last fall in the Hammer. What a great car. Both I tested were north of $70K. If it wre $57K I would have jumped at it. The wife even approved not that I need her approval. In the end I bought another S4. The TT RS requires no immediate modifications with its lowered stance, sport tuned exhaust and power. Of course after a year a tune would be like a new car. I say go for it.

Go drive it again and roll down the drivers window. The wind buffeting will make you want to shoot yourself.

^^^ how do you get an s5 to make 500 hp?
