Haven’t driven it other than the trip from washington 3 weeks ago, and was 1 quart used for 3000 highway miles. I’ll watch it closely once I start driving it more.
Don’t really see any smoke while driving, saw a little after starting it when standing behind the car warming up. Had small rattle on first startup after oil change but then it’s gone and back to normal. That being said I’ve only started the car <30 times.

Was the engine hot when you did the compression test?
Yep it was at normal operating temperature. From the time I turned it off to doing readings was like 15 minutes
Oil consumption is not bad at all so I’d guess the cylinders aren’t scored and the piston rings are fine. Maybe the valve cover or head gaskets need to be changed?

The two cylinders look low. That could be a deep wall score letting compression by.

I agree based on the numbers and community knowledge it feels like issue should be scoring and oil consumption. I need to put some regular miles on the car and monitor as I haven’t seen crazy consumption yet, plan to start daily for next month.
Yeah I’d daily it for whatever OCI you choose (3k,4k,5k miles) and check oil level during each thousand miles and see what’s the deal with consumption at the end of the cycle. How’s the VCs and PCV? Any oil leaking underneath? Also, it should be noted not all BHFs respond to the same oil equally. Over the years, I’ve seen some consume less with M1 or Motul or Liqui Molly. So you motor might “like” one oil over others, just something to keep in mind.
It’s possible the way the cylinder damage or whatever the issue is that’s causing low compression is that it might not result in extreme oil consumption. Check the oil every gas fill up. You did great on the drive home so I don’t see it getting worse.

2 full tanks of gas ran through and oil is still absolutely full.
Picked up a vag cable finally. One very odd thing I can’t figure out, the radio and navigation module cannot be communicated with. The car has an older rns-e and music info shows up on instrument cluster. Will post a full scan log in coming days.
Fixed the door handle rattle. Found a long allen wrench works really good to release the metal cover.
-Picked up the viseeo tune to air wma1000 so can stream from my phone, seems to work ok so far.

So holy crap! It’s been quite a crazy time since I last posted in here. I took a new job and moved from upstate NY to Pasadena California for a new job (closer to JHM!). Still under 3k miles on the car and no oil consumption or issues, which is good.
At any rate between the move, new job etc I’ve been totally busy and not even reading the forums. Will start to be around more.
And I picked up another Audi today to keep the S4 company…
It’s an S3, one of the 25 audi exclusive cars - sepang blue with blue trim / stitching inside :). For a 2.0 very happy with it so far 
and it looks great next to the nogaro avant.
