That’s the biggest issue, I probably will not make it out to the track at all this year and maybe not until next spring/summer. Along with the lack of driving it, it’s future is up in the air.
pretty far but I’d liken it to trying to blaze a trail through the amazon using a steak knife. It’s very VERY tough…and full of surprises. And when you’re first, there’s nobody to help you.
This thread is now depressing thread. 91GL has gone over to the fart side and isn’t coming back.
I haven’t given up yet but it’s hard to find time for this car. I’m gonna ride out the year with it but if I’m not driving it i will take a long hard look at my future with it. What’s the point of having a stripped out supercharged beast and not enough time in the day to drive it? I rather give it to JHM and let them go ham with it.
Just saying, we’ll see if shit changes. I’d hope so. In the mean time, I love my b8 lol
When ever your ready i have the money ready!!! I will buy the whole car off you so I’ll have 2 B6s one for daily driving and the other for ASS RAPINGS!!!
not sure. 75% of the way maybe? It has taken far too long to be comfortable. I think it’s 91GL and bluerocket whose cars have been trapped in this process. Really sucks for them and for JHM because both parties had no idea how long it would take, and both estimated something that at the time seemed reasonable…only to find there were far more problems in the stock motor (when you want to go retarded power) than anyone anticipated.
We all those 2 guys a HUGE debt of gratitude. Would be cool if we could all pool $20 from the 500 or so B6/7 S4 guys on all the forums and kick it over to the 2 guys to help cover some of their unexpected costs. Pipe dream maybe? Both had to buy other cars…both have been without their car/engine or some combination therein for 2 years. Could you imagine that? Losing your S4 in the prime of its life for 2 fucking years?
They’re not really talking about it with us forum folks (or any of their projects) till its ready. Good policy, but it gets them in trouble as people perceive them as being out of touch.
