Importing a US car to Canada... How easy is it?

Yes, i have and I’m a Scuba diver. Also, you never said anything about weight, you said Scuba. 60ft is a common beginner level freediving (no Scuba) depth. It’s much easier to get to that depth without BCD, tanks etc.

going 60 feet down without scuba gear would be pretty frigging tough unless you’re a world class free diver

No, Level 1

nitpicker…yawn.

Looking forward to seeing you dive 60 feet with no gear. make sure someone films it.

Me a nitpicker? LOL. You’re the semantics prince of the Audi forum world

When I’m back in the Caribbean I’ll be sure to submit my video evidence and proper signed witness reports from the water before I hit the beach. :stuck_out_tongue:

Question: would you rather dive 60 feet with scuba gear, or freedive it?

Just to end this silliness.

Wouldn’t freediving it be more exciting? lol

Lol I vote diving with no gear. Especially in known waters.

WTF!

Where is the thread jack Nazi when you need him?

I come back to my USA car import thread after 24 hours and it has morphed into a scuba diving discussion. And I dont even friggin dive!

LOL

Like when one of Arin’s APR threads got sidetracked onto fish tanks. If you’re doing the importing yourself, the main thing is to phone the border crossing (both US and CAN sides) that will be doing the paperwork and confirm what they need and how far in advance of you pitching up. And check the hours of the people that do car importation.

I’ve heard some crossings getting anal asking for original titles and some will make do with a fax 3 days in advance and then the original on presentation of the car.

Thanks for all the tips everyone.

I have now changed my mind about importing a car from the US. Seems like too much work for the lower-priced cars that I am looking at. Instead I’m going to use my money to take some scuba diving lessons.
