The metal support braces underneath conduct more heat/faster and radiate it to the hood.
^^^nerd
it looks cool
usually it makes a clear A (on all cars, not just Audis) but that’s pretty funky looking)
and for the record this is from last night when I parked after driving, not from sitting there warming up this morning.
Ahhhh so the braces retained heat for longer.
the braces wouldnt be doing much radiating either, they’re in contact so they’d be conducting heat to the hood skin and given the low temperatures and limited line of sight between the two, the amount of radiant heat would be small
^nerd competition.
you know it.
I work at a place that consumes ~1 trillion BTU’s of natural gas a year, I spend a lot of time talking about heat transfer.
That was a compliment btw ;D
That is an enormous amount of ng. Are you using it for heating massive amounts of sqft or for a manufacturing process? Or both?
Speaking of Natural Gas, have you heard of Goodrich Petroleum? Interesting company with some cool IP involving horizontal drilling.
both process and facility, 1 million sq ft facility and we own the largest forging press in this hemisphere (max force 56,000 tons)

I’m still in school :’(

hahaha +1 karma for you for that

Is it a blessing or a curse.
Do I say fuck it and let CountVohn go nuts on this thing or do I sit on my hands…
so that’s what it takes to forge Rory McIlroy’s irons. Fuck me.
Well he needs something else to help him apparently, dude walked off the course prior to a finish. Tisk tisk.
