Seems like the 3.0 traffic on here has died down.
Just wanted to see if anyone wants to share what their plans are for their car?
Is anyone planning on modding their car?
Or are people just watching to see what other people do first?

The 3.0 JHM thing hit a brick wall it seems. Who knows what they’re doing over there. Same with the rs4. It’s frustrating
Still, the tune, downpipes, fast intentions catback, intake spacer, zingo mod, clutch and lwfw options, bbk and light weight rotors… would make for a pretty quick 3.0.
There are plenty of mods, and still nobody is doing anything. Imnuts on az got the tune but other than that its dead.

I finally got my shit together so I can start getting my car back on the road. I just ordered a heap of stuff from JHM the other day and they are still working on my tune…seems as though my computers are a little different so it is taking some time to crack.
I will also be mating the JHM DP’s to my supersprint headers so that should be interesting. I have to figure how I am going to get a 2.5 exhaust or just eat the shipping on a FI exhaust.

I’m going with everything when it’s released, dp’s, FI exhaust, lw brake rotors, intake spacers… just gonna do it all at once. Can’t do much when they won’t sell it yet though lol.

anytime I came close to buying tune or DP’s they would sell them but my finances just didn’t work out. I just bought the intake spacers, and the exhaust is on their web site, and brakes are available… whats your excuse now 
What I was trying to get at is, I see the hits on each thread. So either there are a lot more 3.0 owners on here just reading and not talking? I dont know but I just can’t understand why things are dead. IMO this platform should be HUGE, and I know I probably shouldn’t say it, but I think the 3.0 is a better platform than S4, V8’s are cool. But that engine bay is cramped and I don’t see you fitting 2 turbo’s in it, SC is bad ass. But S4 parts cost way more than other lines. So in my mind the 3.0 being V6 AWD especially if you have manual 5 or 6 spd. You have potential for a deadly car, this thread should be on fire with people begging for some GO!, am i wrong?
42Draftdesign told me they wanted to do A4 3.0L downpipes 9 months ago!
Told me if I let them use my car for the build I would get the first set free.
I told them i would gladley pay for them if they would do them.
Do you want to know what I was told monday when I e-mailed them again.
3 months since I last asked them how they were doing.
They said they are extremely busy and they will call me when their ready.
Yes, we have a lot of lookers here in the B6 A4 3.0L section but only a few posters.
I’ve been told since the beginning that I would get DP’s right away as soon as they are released, I ask every few months and I get told to wait more. So if they are available I would be rather surprised. No point in getting the exhaust when I’ll just have to pull it apart again to put the DP’s on. They actually made lightweight brake rotors for the 3.0 replacement (312mm) which I want, but those aren’t released. I won’t be buying any go-fast parts from anywhere but JHM for this particular car, just based on my history with them.
Looks like all the companies are doing us wrong again!
