Just wondering if there’ any discernible or functional difference between the original FI catback (the one FI did right after leaving Labree) and the current one on sale. I know the history, I just don’t know if there’s been any major changes over time to the catback.

I have one here off the car I can take pictures of. I bought it 18 months or so ago. I think the mufflers say Sebring on them?

In a way, yes. From what I understand, FI’s first catbacks were similar to the Labree catbacks. What I don’t know is if over time, FI updated/changed their design and if they did, is there a considerable difference or not. A local guy is selling his FI catback (the original one) and I’m thinking of buying it. However, if FI has made considerable improvements over the original design, I might be better buying a revised version. If however there’s barely any difference between the older design and the current design, then I’ll buy it.

Danny made the S4 catbacks for Labree, when he left (for whatever reason) he took the jigs. It’s probably the exact same thing.
They’re still using Sebring mufflers and I don’t believe design has changed at all. Or at least in a way where it would impact output. Axel, I’d go with that private seller.
I think it changed a couple of times.
There is no ‘original’ fast intentions catback. There is a Labree catback, and there is a fast intentions catback.
Danny left Labree as euro said and started making B67 catbacks under fast intentions for JHM .
I think there are a couple of different Labree catbacks for B67.
To me in these pics they look similar but not same. Labree then FI

As sakimano said there are some differences but as far as it goes. None of the units is bad. It all uses the same components.
