Is this Coolant in Oil?

So I was just routinely checking oil etc and I noticed this goo on the oil fill cap.

I have seen pictures online where you see a full on milkshake happening, however I wonder if this is just the start of things. Appreciate thoughts from you guys on this.

Hard to say for sure. If you really want to know get a blackstone kit and have the oil inspected. They will tell you all kinds of helpful information about the condition of the motor via the oil.

As of right now. I don’t think that looks too out of the normal range. While the pictures are helpful. As much as I can tell from the picture it looks like its not something to super worry about at this point.

Does it make sense to test the oil if it was just changed, there’s probably less than a 100 miles since the oil change, should I wait to get around 1000 miles on the oil or does it not matter

If there was coolant in the oil you should have seen more of it in the last oil change. As coolant will sit ontop of the oil. But yes I would get some miles on the oil just to get an idea over a larger oil use time.
