I agree that a good four door AWD performance luxury car is short in options. I dropped the four door requirement and I enjoy every second of driving it.
A number of my friends are in the same boat and with small kids it makes it really difficult beyond what was already mentioned. I’ve even considered a new GTR which has neither 4 doors, a 3rd pedal, and starts at about $100k. I test drove an S6 as well thinking I would be pleasantly surprised and I didn’t enjoy it at all.
Are people forgetting the STI and Evo? I loved my 11’ STI (5door hatch) but things changed and I needed to get rid of the 3rd pedal. My only choices at that time were Evo MR, 335xi, or S4. The S4 clearly coming out the winner.
Now, if I put as much coin in my STI as I have so far in my S4 I would be pushing 550whp in a daily driver.
maybe, maybe not but at the end of the day i support the company that supports the platform. JHM’s product is by chance because the s5, and you’d be silly to think that anyone but the customers are testing out the clutch for the s4 considering the 3.0t is far from there bread and butter. basing there rep on just the headers alone is a bit silly, all other products are great and have been proven, just one hasnt and its one that was developed before tune or anything for this car and as it is they make some power on a non-tuned car and im sure with a specific tune and or a bigger blower it may/will be a different story.
hell me and pete will do plenty of testing between the JHM and EuroCode. ill bring this thing to the track quite a bit since i wont feel like the car will shatter at any given moment lol. both cars will have all the same mods like headers and such except he will be AWE and i will be APR and most likely he will get the JHM setup and i the EC

As for EuroCode’s rep, they’ve earned a rep of being a little shady on the forums, including this one, and things like their intake only compound the headers situation. You said ‘all other products’. What are you referring to…the chassis brace? I guess that means they get a pass on how to make a clutch for a 4000 lb 400 wtq AWD Audi?
I think the fact that we have had mega radio silnce from EuroCode regarding their clutch should tell you a few things. I look forward to your review. Hopefully you order two of them.
theres been radio silence on the forums for sure, but thats because they are waiting for release to put specs out. i dont see whats shady about their clutch? they installed into papers car and then ran into manufacturing and design issues, all is back on track now. and the other products i refer to is a larger list than that, the shifter is absolutely perfect, the sways and endlinks make the car feel great, the braces is great.
and i still firmly believe with the right support, the headers can make the same power they make on a non tuned car. the biggest issue people are having with EC is having Paper rep them on here
No, I think the issue is that EuroCode has done a bunch of shady shit.
Address the headers not adding delta (you can’t say ‘I think they will’ because they didn’t. It’s tested ad nauseum)
Address the intake and the bogus MPG claims and product release
Address the guys from the company lying to customers and pitting them against one another on forums
Address one of the guys from the company signing up here without saying who he was and posting about Eurocode as if he was a customer
Then we’ll talk about how great the end links are.
Not to mention no clutch for any other Audi (that I’ve seen)…ever.
