A 2000 6 speed with Bosch MAF should be an A box, yes. That ECU says “D” at the end, for D box. My guess is it was re-coded. Open VCDS, go to Engine, and in top left box the letter @ the end is what it’s coded for.

Would the ecu be an A-Box even though he said it was a euro S4?

It doesn’t matter we can flash it to any box we need :slight_smile:
