great pictures. Looks like an awesome trip.
It took a little while to find but that picture is in Curry County OR 42.301568, -124.411452. Which is a little up the road from Pistol River State Park. Most of the places that I have stopped at to take pictures are just little stops that take forever to find on the map.
Thanks Justin
The Oregon coast is great cruising scenery. PNW in general. Beautiful!
Did some driving around San Francisco yesterday.

Gorgeous. The background scenery, too.
Damn Jimmy what a road trip! I love road trip posts and envy you. One day, one day I’ll take my beast on something similar. Do you have it all mapped out or is this spur of the moment kind of thing?
My plan is to potentially do something similar in 2016-2017 did you have it all mapped out? How many days of travel did you plan?
I had a loose plan based off when I have/had to be somewhere by. Certain things like meeting people I wanted to leave a good portion of time to improvise. Then other times (like tomorrow) I have a hard deadline so I can’t be late for that. In small ways my plan kind of got shot to shit. For example there was a shit ton of traffic in certain states for construction, accidents, or just general stupidity so I had to leave extra time for that. Also I didn’t expect the lack of hotel vacancies in the northern states so I had to not go to one national park that I wanted to. Since I skipped that and rushed one day faster than expected, I got to my destination in Cali three days quicker than expected. Originally I had planned on ten days of travel just going out to Cali. There still is more driving to be done today and next week for seeing sights.
Yes I am, thanks. It was great meeting you too. Good to hear about the surgery. Take care of yourself.
I would have a bunch of fun in a Vette on 101. Probably get myself in a little trouble though.
It is beautiful out there. Even Oregon was good in spots like this one:
That’s quite a good photo location. Cannon beach or nearby?
