Jfonz is tuning B8's now...

If you can just get your TCU on line, and make a few great passes, you’ll be down to 11.3. If you run slicks, pull your interior and take your catback off, you’ll threaten 10s as well. So if their stage ii e85 kit works, I don’t see why they couldn’t.

Of course these guys have dodged the 1/4 mile in their b8 cars for 4 years already, so let’s not hold our breath lol

Solo is older than 10 months. The Jfonz guy might have been there for 10 months (idk tbh). But my buddy has been working at that spot for a few years. (maybe it was a previous name)

a good friend of mine happens to work at solo. TBH the claims they are making are a bit odd. They typically go for the mile long races. For them to make an 1/4 mile claims i find strange. thats not what they are “known” for. They have always been into the longer runs.

Yeah, in my experience over the years it’s because they don’t produce the results so hey avoid it and use their other “testing” as the marketing material to sell their product. Unfortunately, for them the 1/4 mile is the standard and used by all, sure the mile races and such are becoming more popular but they won’t displace drag racing or 0-60 metrics for that matter…

At the end of the day it doesn’t impact me from a buying perspective I just hate that they get away with spreading BS claims and use flawed logic. Vendorzine unfortunately has a lot of new users who are clueless and don’t know how to search and even worse don’t listen to the few knowledgeable people on the forum. Sad thing is I actually made an E85 pass and I had the tune for one weekend and grenaded the fuel pump on said pass… Yet again they nor their customers can’t find time to make a pass? They are going to these other events… lol Yeah OK… If your tune is so good go make some passes and post up, you’ll fucking sell more if the car does good if not well not so much…

Also, interesting they’ve had zero interest so far… EPL sold what 45 tunes in a few days and Saxon and a few others have already proved their tune is inferior so Solo was hoping to play up the whole E85 thing guess there is not as much interest but there sure is for “tuning” at home… lol

and by ‘always’ …you mean the last 10 months since the company is that old

Ouch… There may be interest but NO takers and it’s been 5 days… EPL had 40+ in that time… lol

I don’t understand why people are willing to buy unproven software after years of proven results with other products. you don’t like APR fine, GIAC is proven and good. No idea why you go to solo over those two.

My guess is they think the value of paying less and having the same or similar product is worth it.
