Jfonz is tuning B8's now...

When is this forum going to approve Itguys account here?

^^ See God’s post on page 4. I don’t think “it” guy will get approved. You’re not him, right? Lol.

You mean that the GIAC guys can’t benefit from being catless and Apr can, and the apr tune just turns off a cel? That doesnt sound right.

I know they disable the catalyst efficiency code that would trigger the cel, but my point is the parameters of Apr’s tune benefit from being catless, while the other guys appear to be struggling with that.

They do not disable any codes. If I do a system check I have all of the effiency codes going off. The only thing the testpipe tune does is prevent the code from triggering the check engine light on the dash.

Why do you say that only APR’s tune works with testpipes? As I understand it APR found no need to modify the tune to account for testpipes so I don’t see why GIAC or Revo would need to. I believe super sprint was having Revo do a header tune that, after analysis, was deemed unnecessary.

maybe I misunderstood something. I’m sure we will hear more as time goes on.

How on earth will you pass emissions with stored fault codes?

He’s used up his one readiness test freebie. If that’s all he has, he’d pass emissions.

Also, you haven’t missed anything, APR has not released a B8 S4 tune for anything other than stock cats.

We have not tuned for testpipes, high flow cats, or long tube headers.

We simply have a testpipe file for catalyst efficiency codes. The tests all run in stock mode (and will throw a CEL if it doesn’t pass), but in chipped mode it doesn’t run the tests, so you don’t get the cel, and you’ll fail readiness.

I think his tune + pulley is $499 on his webpage right now. Surprised that hasn’t been splashed all over the forums (Jfonz)

A couple of people posted a link to this.

Aaaahahaha looks like a fire sale…shit parts at shit prices…the troll b5 accounts of the jconz krew seems to have not paid div8dends…that hole jconz th8ng is so f7cked you have to laugh…

Where was that one a6 guy who one week didnt wamt to spend any m9ney to mod his a6 but claimed he bought a 60k b8 s4 got a jwow tune and wemt 11s with it…its like 5 weeks now and still no video…what a joke

I’m sorry I may have missed it but who are we accusing J-Fonz of ripping off now. From what I understood there were noticeable differences between the J-Fonz and the APR pulleys, also as far as I know there has been no trading of Simo’s files on **********.

Most of you guys were decent to him when he was posting here, now that he chooses not to frequent the board it is apparently open season.

As far as I know, itguy is/was the only guy that tried to open a “troll” account. Josh is not currently posting on any sites and it should be noted that SRM and J-Fonz may be aligned but are by no means one and the same.

I do have J-Fonz tunes on my cars which does make me biased in this discussion, but it would be nice to see how things go before condemning them him to fail.

Chris, if you are talking about the pulley being shit parts I wonder where you tech info comes from, or is it just your opinion?

When you say open season, are you referring to chrisk posts?

I think most people were courteous to jfonz when he posted here and I also think chrisk kicked the shit out of him back then too.

That persists today.

Where is the change…?

In this section I think lots of people have lost respect for the sneaky bullshit marketing campaign from jfonz, having a frigging business partner pretend to be a happy customer in order to fool the forum. Well that got called out real quick and it hasn’t helped.

Seems the dude has gotten inti bed with the wrong people. .when his ace side kick is a china knock off resale artist that has troll accounts…who knows how many…seems saltene might be another one as he seemed to know itguys busniess…then your get the con posts on az…sure…ok josh has no idea what is go8ng on…then all of a sudden someone with no deep knowledge of the b8 s4 decided to make a pulley and release it before its even tested…dude…really you cant see whats going on…

Josh and itguy think the b8 is just as easy to fool as the b5 guys who want cheep knock off parts…then you have the az posts of itguy calling out honest paying advsrtisers… making jabs at eurocode making cluless statments on az about how the tune works only to then have apr come in amd school them…

More sideshow acts then need for any respect…here this post says it better

Then you have a great company like awe testing amd busting ass to get some great products out there and who is talking shit abkut how long its taking them but the knock off china king itguy hi.self…

Why the paying advertsers on az let thst fly I have jo idea…all of us know whats going on

Why not try slagging SRM instead of JFonz. Sometimes you cant control who buys and advocates your product for you.

I sure hope you are lily white and transparent in all your ventures. If not it sure would be hypocritical of you

Btw for what its worth I have personally purchased tunes from GIAC, APR and VAST

Since you know that itguy = sillyrabbitmotorsports, why does that change anything about jfonz using some questionable marketing strategies? I mean you’re not thinking jfonz isn’t involved… Are you? They’re in business together.

P. S. Read more closely: chrisk is an equal opportunity slaggist… If you’ll notice he snagged SRM too lol

I have cheered for all and called out all the same people. Pes awe apr asp amd epl mtm jhm the list continues. …dude its not hard to see whats going on you act like im the only one brave enough to say something. .Go on az ajd watch as jwow gets laughed at for what him and itguy are doing. I have cheered for jwow and I have no issues doing so…give peole something to cheer about over all the stuff to talk about

Can you please answer the question about who jfonz ripped off, hardware or software?

Jfonz and “his” guy were definitely coordinating on that infamous (now locked) thread on AZ. Jfonz 's guy even acknowledged that jfonz was directing him how to respond to certain posts. It was perhaps the biggest marketing disaster I have seen on the forums. But I am looking forward to 1/4 mile times.
