Sorry, but Ive been out of the loop for a while. Does anyone know when the ECU and TCU mods will be available to us mortals?
I was on the phone with JHM yesterday and I mentioned this question. They said contact them at the V8@jhmotorsports.com addy and just ask
they haven’t ‘launched’ the tunes yet because they like to do it with style…videos, track times, and tons of miles of testing on an in house car.
with that being said, they’re often willing to put the tune on your car if you contact them.
i.e. the RS4 tune was ‘available’ for like 3-4 months before it was ‘launched’ with that awesome video
I have a JHM vendor/reseller here in calgary (jerbel autowerks ) anyone know when the tunes are ready for the public, if they will be able to pull it from the JHM server and have it installed here rather than sending the ECU&TCU away.
Jamie your going to want to ship your ECU and TCU to jhm. Even if your local shop can chip it for you JHM actually inspects and tests the ECU’s. I found the process to be quite valuable when I was able to see first hand what goes into it.
I know the tunes are ready now but I would highly suggest sending your ECU/TCU to jhm for the upgrade. Its only a few days and IMHO worth the extra steps.

Im lucky enough to know that there already made and JHM is getting ready to start pre production. Im thinking that we on AR should be able to get the first lot of them

Hey guys im new to audirevolution and i have a b7 3.2, but seeing this thread for the 3.0 makes me want to be part of the jhm 3.0 bandwagon. I’ve heard that jhm will be making parts for the 3.2 as well, but i was wondering if some of you guys can head over to the b7 thread and post your opinions in the 3.2 post i created just so the jhm representatives see that its getting attention and hopefully all of the v6 a4 owners will have some nice power adders soon. Thanks!!!
