Is it’s me or did the price go up on the JHM exhaust?
In my head I thought I was around $1,799. Now it’s $2,500 sheesh.
I wonder if they entertain a group buy?
Anyone interested?
Probably higher because there are a lot less volume since the initial bottleneck probably subsided long ago. That’s just an assumption though. There may be some other reason for the increase.
the price definitely went up like $350, i think it’s “on sale” for 2249, just a couple weeks ago it changed - i think at that price point people may start to look at other options, $1800 was ok, but now it’s a bit steep
I would be interested in seeing if someone was interested and emailed them and asked for the old price if they would still take it. It looks like the price has changed since they put up the new site. Maybe there was an error in adding or updating the prices.

An exhaust like this isn’t cheap to make in the USA with USA materials, unfortunately.
It was on intro price for a while, however with the cost of parts and labor to manufacturer the exhaust system we weren’t making any money on them so we couldn’t keep the intro price on for any longer.
However, we will be taking delivery of our own mandrel bender here soon to have on site that will save time and money on materials so we can evaluate exhaust pricing and ramp up production to reduce lead times.
That’s great news. I think the S6 exhaust is still somewhat competitive at 2250 but 1900 is the sweet spot for some I would think.

$2750 now? :o I was planning to get this bad boy in Q4, but that’s crazy for an exhaust. Jake, didn’t you mention a change in the manufacturing process would reduce costs? Any AR discounts?

Holy shit! It’s now $2500 on sale (normal $2750). If it originally was $1800, that is still freaking expensive.
At $2500, for a relatively simple exhaust, that is just ridiculous and is a definite NO for me.
I would say 100% if you contact JHM and have a few firm customers you can get close to a 20% discount or you can wait for the end of the year holiday sale and do well.

That’s a $1300 different from the MagnaFlow exhaust. Wow. I know performance costs, but I’m having trouble wrapping my head around the performance gains with that price tag.
It’s definitely worth it at the $1995.00 I paid when it was on sale. I’d even venture to say it’s worth it at $2500. I guess that’s the cost of quality or perhaps that’s the cost of R&D? Not sure. All I can say is that it sounds glorious and there’s a notable difference after installation. I haven’t heard a Magnaflow’ed C6 yet, so I’m not sure how much better the JHM exhaust is in sound quality. It’s definitely a crowd pleaser though.

They are built to order. I was quoted 3 to 6 weeks when I enquired. It took four weeks. Order was placed on Aug 8th and I received it Sept 5th.
