JHM lightweight flywheel question

So I have had the JHM lightweight flywheel w/stage 3 clutch on my car for about a year, and due to an issue that I ran into recently I’m installing the stage 4 kit right now. I’ve got all the parts here including the new friction disc for the flywheel, the only thing that I need now is the proper torque spec/sequence for this friction liner… I’ve searched and have not been able to find anything definitive; I would hate to put it in incorrectly and end up with issues…

So does anyone here happen to know the torque specs for this part of the flywheel?

So I found the answer to my own question… The friction liner is supposed to be torqued to 120 inch pounds.
Just in case anyone needs that info in the future…

That was fast
Where’d you find the answer?

Jhm has an instruction sheet linked on their product webpage i believe

I found a guy that was able to get ahold of Jake@JHM right away on a Saturday…

Everything that I was able to find elsewhere only mentioned the bolts that hold the flywheel to the crankshaft, or the pressure plate to the flywheel.

Good information. Great follow up

Glad the information made it’s way back to you!

I saw the photos, it appeared you fused your original disc!

Hey just checked again, the new hardware is 90-100 inch lbs. Make sure you use loctite as well!

Which Loctite would you suggest?

Red high temp

Thanks

Thanks Jake! I did use red loctite since the original hardware had some on there as well. I torqued them down to 120 inch lbs. on Saturday… You mentioned to Martin that I should be good to go still, right?

Got the transmission back on, but if it needs to come back out I’d rather do it before it gets too cold out.

Yup! You are good to go.
