I am going to with hold any and all comments or opinions I have about all this. I do not have any current concrete facts and if I did I would love to clear the air on all this. I will say that I believe both sides, i believe both sides think they are telling the truth. I will also say DxC has been developing these for over 2 years also. I know that for a fact. I will also say, very seriously that I wish none of this was happening, its horrible for our industry and specifically the b5 s4 scene.

I have some pretty strong theories, some pretty good info and a great memory, Shawn if you would ever like to discuss this off the forums I am all ears, I am going to bow out of all these threads that luckily I have had a minor to non existent presence in because I fear if I talk about it, my opinions will be taken as facts to the less informed who turn to people like me for guidance.

Come on man don’t drink the koolade. DXC mentioned that he was going to send turbos to china. DXC= parts from china. Talking about and doing are two different things. It’s not hard to go search AZ. So basically DXC has been developing something that has already been out, After they came out. I had a set of Beta JHM RSwhatever you want to call them. Two fucking years ago. Its clear to me DXC picked up JHMs scraps and wants to call them his.

DXC said he invented these but some how jhm got them two years before he invented them? Ok lets say thats true. Then you have to believe that DXCs china connection never reviled to DXC that a company was selling HIS turbos A YEAR BEFORE DXC attempted to not only sell them but to bring them to the USA??? DXC has been asking questions over and over to see pictures of the JHM units. He saw pictures months ago when a member posted them. He never mentioned this then. He even said the china knock off turbos were “close to what a RS6-r would be” DXC also said he had a container of frankenturbos ko4s as well. saying that frankenturbos were made in the same place as the RS6x turbo. What? Now DXC makes Frankenturbo and JHM turbos but both of them have been selling for well over a year before DXC even talks about it…mmmm no the list of doesn’t add up keeps getting longer and longer

Concrete facts. JHM released a video of these turbos in action OVER a year ago. DXC and all of his paid puppets were no where to be found. DXC just the other day accused frankenturbo of being made in the same place. DXCs biggest issue is is ego, and he is just pushing that. DXC had EPL make his set of RS6 turbos for his car. From there DXC said he was sending RS6 turbos off to be copied. Ok these JHM turbos are not RS6 turbos. There a parts bin turbo with some great and much needed updates.

While I don’t know CV and Im not super fond of MrARD. I’m one guy that is saying I can back up what they have said. I’m one of many. If the mountain of clear proof and a time line that should be enough to just take the wind out of the DXC story. DXC and his weak ass attempt to sell this failed Idea that he made something and JHM is taking it is just making him a desperate joke.

China isn’t one guy that answers a phone. ITS FUCKING HUGE and there are tens of thousands of parts knocked off and sent there EVERY day. There are knock off of knock offs. DXC said he was going to send turbos to china. YES HIM AND LIKE 50 OTHER PEOPLE ahead of him already did it.

Here Ill update my thread from a YEAR ago when I had already had the JHM turbos on my car for several months. I was told when I got them to keep this off line. But you can read my posts unedited and see that this year I already had popped in saying that I have a set and was going to tear them down.

I have consumed no koolaide, I know what I know and I also know what I don’t know. I’m not taking any sides. I keep hearing that Jhm has had these for years, I believe that. I also happen to know that dxc has been fucking with these for years.

I will reiterate in different wording, everyone is bending the truth, everyone thinks they are being legit. It’s fucking stupid and annoying at this point.

Im with you I thjink all this is bad for the B5 but lets be honest. We have proof that JHM has had this for years. We know dxc has talked about this for years. there is a big difference here.

dxc and his stroy has changed with the tide. I don’t know how any one can take someone who showed up to the party 2 years and 2 moths to late with nothing more then claims and weak ass statments as serious… OH actually I do know. Its the B5 and its now a collection of 18-24 year old kids who think knocking off parts is “Advancement” the people that believe in this crap are jujut looking for a cheap part hope. Snow you of anyone know it takes real money and real parts to make a real product.

JHM has done proven and had
dxc has talked…talked…and talked… and then shown up late like a drunk ex saying how she was prom queen before she got ugly.

as I said in the other thread, I think the thing that sticks out like a sore thumb here (well, other than DxC ‘fucking’ with these for years, but never actually testing one until last week…that doesn’t sound like he was very serious about it)

That is that one company is a legit, operating company with accountability, accessibility, has done a boatload of R&D, and continues to do so…and the other company is a guy with a history of stealing/copying others, who may or may not be working out of his house’s garage. He and his distribution channel (lol naudlee) are working from the seat of their pants, with no phone number, no business location, and no business to speak of.

I think it’s pretty clear who the obvious choice is, for those in the market…and for those wondering who to listen to. I’m all for being a startup, but you can’t be a startup forever. You have to step up eventually.

Is it the bearings, housings, any other parts? I only noticed you specifically talking about the quality of the “virgin bronze” bearings. I’ve only had a small bit of research into the manufacturing processes of sintered bronze bearings, but I do know a bit about material quality and scoring resistance. Is there a specific bronze family that was better than the knock off crap the China turbos used?

Where are the HD turbos from?

Are some of the parts sourced from china, and others to other places?

Ahhh, that makes sense. It sounded like your trans misshifted and the revs skyrocketed and then white smoke! So my first thought was valve float, especially when we heard you drive past, it sounded just like when I floated my valve. Hope you get it sorted, was a great looking car!

It did miss shift. I don’t know if you heard on the first pass I let out when it went into 4th. When it shifted info 4th the gear slipped so I backed out of it short of the 1/4 mile. I assume you guys heard it as Adam mentioned it. While In the pits I had a file I made with much higher pressure in 4th. I also had a dial on the seat to control pressure. I don’t know if you saw it but I had the TCU on the floor and a few knobs on the seat.

The Second pass I turned off the ESP and launched the car light off the break. The 1-2 shift was super hard and quick. The 2-3 it snapped a little so I turned up the pressure it held but on the 3-4 shift it came in too hard and too fast. I shared off something big as it went threw the case revs went way up hit the limiter for the motor 6800. Then I said F it and stabbed it again and that kinda just reinforced what I already knew. Took her into the pits. Checked out the car with a once over. The TCU had all kinds of codes so I just put it into limp mode and drove her out of the track.

Man if u read the actual thread the answers are all there. There are 2 turbis in quesrion the light oe LD UNITS the turbo that dcx copied the ch8na turbos developed for oem replacement and not performance repoqcemets. The LD units were close to tue first few test turbos from several years ago and then there are the much m9re robust HD units. Turbos that only jhm has turbos made w8th better parts better materials and much tighter machiene work and tolerences. The HD ujits need to be built with a more hands on and direct approach. Tue result of this is parts made in house or special made not something available on the market. When you build st7ff like that you tend to have it made local so you can assure quality

Seems kinda cut and dry. I know with all the attempts and changed stories by the attempted copiecat people have made things confusing but if yiu reqd it has all been spelled out quite clear. Or so 8t seeme so to me

Well yes if you include the Chinese knock offs made by copycats like DxC or the low duty version made by are (I think)

But those are not rs6r turbos.

man your feisty. I did miss the parts where some are from china. As there is the LD units that have been allowed to be made in china. That is where it ended. It was to me… made clear that the HD units were made in a controlled environment not in china.

Here is the thing. If you have a little money you can get parts copied in china. If you have big money you can have parts made in china BUT you can also have parts made in other parts of the industrial world… and here is a secret. China isn’t the most cost effective. China buys all our old industrial machinery and our scrap metal. Other parts of the industrial world. Pay big money for NEW and the most update industrial technical machines. They want your money if you are making parts. Just thought I would add that for those of you who don’t know.

While I can’t speak for CV personally I know of him and I know he has worked with borla and several other companys over the years. Lots of people know CV. I don’t know the particulars of this project with the turbo but I do personally know CV has used the other part of the industrial world to make a few parts that the domestic guys see. Being as such I don’t see why he would leave the better world to start working with china.
