Unfortunately it looks like that will only be the 2014 or earlier R8s if you want an exciting stick shift audi. Porsche too it feels like soon
Haha well Pier if you want I can take all those parts off your hands! Good luck with the sale, wish I could afford to buy it off you and take off the pieces I wanted!
I can also vouch for Pier and his over the top maintenance, car is in great shape, the techs at the shop he gets the work done also said the same thing!
We need to go for a cruise before you get rid of her! And if not then we need to go for a drive when you get the gt3
^ Hi Todd !
thanks for the kind word. I think the guys at Shift will miss the car as much as me haha.
It would suck to part it out now, I might be crazy but I think the car has a really nice personality. It’s got really
nice balance between handling and power now with the charger. It was the missing piece to the puzzle.
I need to pick up the porsche in California sometimes in April. If the car is not sold by then I think I’m gonna keep
it and postpone the purchase of a DD.
Ive tried to contact Karsty but I think my new account is not allowing me to send private msg just yet.
How hard is importing to America? Just need a dealer/someone with a dealers license to bring it in? Not a fan of black but that’s a nice mod list. :o
I got a broker to fill all the paperwork for me. The hardest part to swallow is the fact that the car is gonna cost me 20k more than if I would have bought her last year.
great question. I know of nobody who has ever imported a car to america.
It used to be popular for Canadians to import cars FROM America, but that was when the CAD currency had strengthened rather quickly, but our car prices hadn’t adjusted, so we were able to buy bargains (relative to Canada) in the US.
The process of importing to Canada is pretty easy. I did it with my B7 S4 back in 2007 or 2008. I did it all myself. Quite easy.
probably not $20,000 unless you’re paying $125,000 for the car…the currency has really only moved from 1.10 last year to 1.25 today, which is about a 14% move.
If you want a great way to convert CAD to USD for almost no cost , at the spot rate, PM me.
