Dynos don’t lie. Dynos say whatever the operator wants them to say.
And even a properly calibrated dyno won’t tell you the whole story. I.e burningcoals says his car loses revs so fast that if he’s forced to shift he’s fucked dropping back to 1000 rpm. You’re not going to see that on the dyno.
That still doesn’t sound right to me, its not that I don’t believe him I just find it hard to understand why. Is it a tuning issue or his he just shifting to high in the rev range and hitting a fuel cut out point…this would not be seen on a dyno either
That’s what I was saying. The B5RS4 didn’t hold 54xftlbs, but I would assume the b7RS4 would. With 18% increase in clamping load I would think it would sound close. My stage 4 B5rs4 lasted 30k miles of non stop pain (and launching) and it had a lot left when I pulled it out of the car. Actually a local car is still running it with no problems.
then why did you say on Audizine that you would never run from a dig or launch your car? I don’t get that. You know it just makes you look like you’re dodging NYCVR6 right? And you know it makes people think ‘that guy can’t launch his car, that’s why’.
when are you in new york then? Let’s do this! Can’t wait to see you put 8 car lengths on 91GL. Not sure how you’ll fare against the VR6T though. I don’t like your chances there.
you have won me over. Now while I think AMD is a bottom feediing company that is desperate for publicity and is basically selling a untested part that fails to back up any of the clames they have made. I want to see you do well… maybe not beat the V8 car LOL but still
If this is in the next couple of months, the Tial car should murder the B6, and should just barely lose to the VR6T. I stress SHOULD. We all know that the Tial cars have had a tendency to not do what they should.
If this is in 6 months, the B6 will give both B5s a handful.
Looking like the second week in march. I have more filming stuff in MI until then. It’s good because finishing coals car meant mine was on the back burner for a bit.
