The block is just fine. There is very minor scoring in the top of cylinder 1, but other than that, nothing. Compression is good, 149 on cylinder 1, all the other are between 157-170. We’ve widely it down to more than likely being valve stem seals, but cannot be sure without removing the heads, and therefore dropping the engine, which I am done with doing. The car was in the Jhm shop around 5,000 miles ago for timing, Ac compressor replacement, and I had them put the hd heads on. I’m assuming they didn’t install it right. The a/c also never worked after they replaced the condenser. I have been extremely disappointed with Jhm as a company. And since they are the only ones that really are involved with this platform, I am choosing to sell the car.

It’d be a great car for someone to go Stg 3 with and do a motor build. Sorry to hear about the built head issue and A/C.
