JHM tune and SAI info

Looking for some clarification on exactly how the SAI delete function works on the JHM tune. I currently have the sai blower motor removed, the solenoid on the front of the engine by the intake manifold removed and all associated plumbing removed and capped.
I had the JHM tune with SAI delete option loaded last night but still get the SAI code for sysmtem open circuit. Am I right in assuming that I am getting this fault because of that little grey solenoid being unplugged on the front of the engine? Or should the software completwly and entirely remove the SAI sysmtem entirely?

I sent the car up with a good friend to have the flash done as I wasnt able to make it up to the show where the JHM rep would be.

When I pick it up i’ll plug in that piece to see if it clears but figured I would check here first in case the software needs to be reflashed since my car and the Rep are at the same place, otherwise it is a 4 hour drive i woild rather not make lol.

you should have gotten an email I think with the flash report. That would be the first thing to make sure the SAI box was selected.

I have the SAI delete and I have all the plumming and motor removed. I still have the solinoid plugged in so I would think its just the solinoid I dont think too many people remove that. I would feel comfident that would be the issue as long as you selected the SAI delete option on the tune. Let us know what you think when you get the car back

Update, plugged the sai solenoid back in and CEL is now clear. Lesson learned lol.

Yeah I guess you have to find out whats the one issue first before the car will run well… I just saw the other post.
