This tank was 98% freeway driving, with an overall average speed of about 75 mph.
Began with 80-odd miles of 2-lane (including some passing - wheeeee!) and then 300+ miles of superhighway. Cool temps, so A/C not running most of the trip.
I’m still amazed that a car this comfortable and fast can be this efficient…

We drove all the permutations and all it took was one run up through the gears for the wife to say “I want THIS one!” ;D She doesn’t know what torque is - she just knows that 1/2 throttle = BIG time pulling power and she loves that.
The fact that it has averaged 31 mpg in almost 36K miles since new is icing on the cake. The whole diesel shenanigans sucks, but at least we’re gonna get a fat check to make up for part of it…
