Just your average Supercharged B6 RS4 build thread...

Click on that to upload pictures to the site. After that go into the picture section after you loaded your pictures up and just grab the flolder link. You can then just click on that link after each time you load photos to the site to see them. Its quick and easy.

Thanks Justin.

Yes, ill do a write up on the solar sunroof. according to elsawin its actually very easy - 1 wire to ground and the other to the climate control unit. then have it coded in. The option is there, just needs to switched on. You do lose the slide function of the sunroof but for its a worthwhile trade.

Ok, so another set back - I hate to do this but Im so annoyed- JHM for has given me the wrong part. The part in question is the LWCP; Rudi was the one to bring this up. Youll see i have an S4 version on my car which is a different size to the RS4 and looks different. Now as im running a SC, im not willing to risk it. Ive lost a lot of time through missing parts - 4 times its happened during this build. If it wasnt for Rudi - the other Stage 1+ build - i would never have noticed. In JHM defence theyve of course sent the missing parts but cmon guys this isnt rocket science.

In the last 12 months Ive spent more than twice what i paid for the car with JHM so im just a tad annoyed that yet again something like this comes up. Also being 12 hours ahead doesnt help and our working week is sunday to thursday so yet again im losing days with every part that isnt there.

Ill be speaking with Dru later today to get this sorted.

So we be waiting to change out this part before even attempting to fire her up.

In other news, the recaro buckets have been stripped ready to painted and the side parts made in carbon. Also ordered new piping for the inside of the seats for the inflatable sections as the old pipe had gone brittle. Thats coming from germany so should be here by Wednesday(our shop opens on the 9th) so really starting to push it. Interior will be back by tomorrow.

Once the interior is back then ill do the write up on the install on the solar sunroof. FYI theres loads available for sale on ebay.de for around $250 but the shipping the exspensive part. In my mind its worth it as you dont see it often if it all just like the coolbox mod.

Just need a crank pulley and some hoses to complete the engine side of the build.

no, you need wheels and tires that fucking fit…wtf lol

Hahaha with the fenders and everything else on they don’t look so bad. And this is wont be my daily.
Your running a stage 1+ as well, right?

Thanks for posting all this great work. This is a very different build that is very interesting.

Thanks. Ill update this thread now…

So I’ve been busy with life as you do over the past few months and haven’t much time to update this thread. Finishing the car off in its current form before i embark on building my spare engine up to run more boost - want to hit the magic 800bhp. Right now we are upgrading the fuel system to give the capacity to run the boost needed. Planning on running Woessner pistons(9.5:1) with Pawter rods. The heads ill keep standard unless you guys have any ideas on that. All other supporting mods have already been done.

The front bumper still needs painting as I’ve been through a number of painters.

We are leaving Dubai for Europe so the car should arrive there before Christmas. I havent yet had a proper chance to drive it yet!!

Awesome! love the carbon and the color of the car!! Yeah…if you can add any info here on the build up of the motor. Any particular reason you went with 9.5:1 and not 9:1? if you could also add the spec of the rods would be great… I would assume that harder valve springs would be good for more safety of the engine.

as for peripheral mods to adjust to the 800 mark? changed the rear fuel pump to something better?it is supposed to just push the fuel…your key fuel pumps are the front ones that you have already updated. Key issue is always the oil temperature…when i hit it over a twisty road temps go up to 120-122…how can we deal with this more efficiently to run lower oil temps…ok temps go down very fast but still…

any other points to consider here?

I spoke to Quentin who built the single turbo S4 and that’s what he suggested regards the compression ratio. Regards the oil temps then I’d say uprate the std oil cooler. Heat is always going to be an issue on these cars so I’m going to wrap the supercharger. The rear pump has been upgraded to a Deutsche works 300 pump(340 LPH). The rods will be pauter. Pistons wossner. Who make uprated valve gear for our cars??

Here’s the rods http://pauter.com/shop/rods/vw-audi/audi-rs4-4-2l-bns-rods/

The pistons are custom made by wossner. $2500 for the set with an alusil coating.

I would STRONGLY suggest you talk to someone that knows about building the RS4 motors or even Audi motors. Quentin is a fucking con artist who has shown he is either naive or just rock stupid. I think its a bit of both. He spends hours apon hours posting most of it to be self serving while trying to talk bad about jhm apparently because JHMs sucuess with the blower kit makes him and his convicted con artist partner look like a bag of dumb fucks. Even tho Qtin and his utter fail of a project and his lies that me and others have caught him in aside. Your spending money to build a motor. I would strongly suggest you contact someone that has done it and had it work success.

Think about this for a second. Your spending a ton of money before you do I would suggest you talk or reach out to people that actually know what they are doing. The people your talking to havent even been able to get one motor running. Your car isnt a 1964 chevelle. this is a 2007 motor in the RS4. With modern day tech. The new big hp twin turbo 4.0T motors that can make your goal of 800hp have a 10.1:1 compression raito. Im not saying it dosent make sense to adjust your comp raito but Im saying it is a better idea to consult with people who have done this several times over the past several years and ACTUALLY know what they are doing. Not just some random guy who is trying to figgure this out and is only as smart as the last thing he read on google.

Try contacting
Jimmybones
Countvohn
or even JHM for some future support and ideas. I know they had there stage 2 car make well over 600whp to the wheels and the blower wasnt even close to out of breath. And since your going to want them to help support it I would reach out to one of these people for a second opinion and actual guidance
