Hi guys will post all updates here.
Very cool! Can’t get enough of the red S6. Looking forward to the updates!
reminds me of the Top Gear in Paris.
you’re going to install a pair of RM Williams boots?
LOL
Nice! That is definitely going to look good on the car. The less chrome on the front, the better IMHO.
And those boots are quite dapper too!
Thats my steel toe boots ^^
That looks great I cringed when I saw the first picture. That’s scrape close.
Looks good!
I personally like the license plate centered. The long front grill almost needs it, to break it up visually, I think. But that is just me. Looks great regardless.
its a quick release plate holder, at car shows i just remove the plate.
heres a few shots, by the way i had to do some cutting so the existing platic behind the grill wouldnt show.

Very cool
My exhaust, removed 4 resonators, removed the magnaflow mufflers i had and installed x pipe. Total cost around $800, i will fine tune it a bit more until i get the desired sound, then custom stainless exhaust to match what I have done. I will post a good video very soon.

Great pics, man.
Once you have a good exhaust video, I’m going to add your example to the S6 Info Dump as the ‘budget’ was to get a better sounding exhaust from the car. Sakimano has a format that is preferred for exhaust videos - if you dont have it, let me know and Ill send it to you.
There are a large bunch of people who just want a better sound from the car, and a slight decrease in back pressure, on a tight budget, and I think the path you took is perfect for that group.
Do you happen to have any sound clips before you pulled the Magnaflows, but with everything else? No resonators, and no mufflers, might be a bit much for some. But anyway, that is an easy mod to make for someone who finds the elimination of all pieces is too loud.
Nice work! A tune plus cat removal/replacement would be the next logical step to performance improvement.
Yeh send it to me so i can do a proper one for you guys with my DSLR. i have sound clips of everything.
Cost me $100 to delete the resonators and add an xpipe, sounds a lot better but I think a good set of mufflers will take me to where I want to be.
Nice! Don’t want to hijack Pat’s build thread, but if you provide me an exhaust video that meets Sakimano’s guidelines then I will add it also, along with Pat’s.
I agree, a proper catback is the best, but a lot more expensive. And right now, there is nothing on the market that is worth the extra $$$, IMHO. However, pretty soon there should be something available
Ideally i would like a stainless catback but this works for now.
