Howdy guys, does anyone know which knock sensor is which in terms of relating sensor 1, sensor 2, etc. to “driver’s side front”, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
its been a while since I messed with this. But bank one is the passenger side and from what I remember sensor one is on the front passenger side.
now to confirm this I would plug in vag com and dissconnect a sensor and see what code pops up. that is how I figured this out the first time
Think I read about someone doing this a while ago. Looks like i’ll be doing that to ID which sensor is which
Ok been trying to diagnose this all morning and just wanna know if Im stupid or something.
So I unplugged the blue plug in front of the intake manifold which iirc is a knock sensor right? So I did that and I’ve been driving around all morning and I still haven’t gotten a code thrown for a knock sensor. What’s weird is that I even checked the measurement blocks and it said all knock sensors were getting voltage. So… Did I not unplug a knock sensor? Because I’m fairly certain I did

Not 100% sure the blue one is. I think the orange one is a knock along with the white grey and yellow. Ill have to go out to the car and have a look
