Lamborghini parts on your S6. Is that really a good idea?

I know we all think about how great the Lamborghini is and we have even seen a few crazyies swap on a lambo intake. But is all that worth it… Well lets break that down.

for me in short… no its not.

Lets start with this.

Track time wise this Lamborghini went 12.8. Not super impressive. Espically when you consider that more than 1 JHM tuned and JHM exhaust S6 cars went 12.9

Lets look at some specs

The Audi S6 weighs about 4500 lbs

The lambo weighs about 3500lbs

5.0 lambo hp 520 / 375 2006

5.2 lambo hp 550 / 390 @8000 rpm
The S6 hp 435 / 390 @6800 rpm

If you look for dyno sheets and specs on the normal 550 cars they all seem to come in at around 400whp to about 430whp

If you look at dyno sheets for stock S6 cars they all come in around 300 to 330whp so about right with the 100extra hp. BUT if you look the lambo makes a good chunk of power after 6500rpm so alot of the power is more rpm

But add headers to the S6 and it all falls apart

Btw, can we get some affordable headers please? Trying to avoid going bankrupt twice on this car :stuck_out_tongue:

There’s the supply/demand issue (rare car, not many of them) and then there’s the pull-the-engine issue. Sadly I dont know there’s much we can do about either.
