Long overdue small photoshoot [b7 s4]

B6/7 S4/RS4

It’s been a while since I went out with an actual camera and took some pictures of the S4, in fact, I don’t think I ever did an actual shoot with it, I’ve just been taking out the phone and snapping pics like that, so figured, why not now…weather was pretty good so I took the opportunity. I did have a cupra lip not too long ago but kind of ripped it off -_-
Window tint coming this week hopefully.

Now I’m no pro but I take pictures and edit them to the point where I think they are interesting or nice, in my opinion.

man wooo. I just grabed a new screen saver. Great pix. Great stuff man. Very well represented. That really makes the B7 even more agressive looking. Im a big fan of the looks.

When i was first buying i was trying to decide on the color, needless to say I’m glad i picked red.

I said the same thing when I first put them on!

I need a new location, I’ve used this one for my A4. Car needs a major detail and a better shoot afterwards.

Great looking car! I almost picked up one almost identical to this (minus the bbk) when first shopping around. Oh well, I like my DG and did get one hell of a deal.

So which bulbs did you end up going with for your DRL’s and City lights?
Any issues with the tails?

I got a decent deal on this car too but sometimes i wish i didnt. been through a lot with it…

The DRL are a SMD LED 1156 bulb from superbrightleds.com in cool white color.

For the city lights, which are also LED, i got the following because I have 6k bulbs and these seem to match pretty well.

For the resistors I have both of the ones listed on this page:

The smaller one is for the city lights and the bigger for DRL.
You only need 2 of each. 1 for each side.

Tail lights don’t really have major issues… But if you have the switch in auto or if for some reason you leave the lights on and then start the car they don’t fully fire up… Which is OK i guess, or it doesn’t bother me that much… I just turn on the lights after I already started the car…

And the fitment isn’t exactly. OEM but you get what you pay for… Some improvising with electrical tape. And I got them to sit. Nicely

is that the stock S4 trunk? lip almost looks like an RS4 lip

^def add on spoiler, almost looks like cf in one picture. I’m not sure if it’s the RS4 or one of the aftermarket ones though.

Hemlick’s old car (can’t remember who bought it, but it’s on here now) also had a pretty nice cf rear trunk, and I think it had a slight lip on it built in. It was pretty cool b/c with the CF trunk, he painted everything black to match the car except for the lip part and the license place inlet. So at first glance you’re thinking, oh, cheap add on CF piece, and then you can’t see the seam. . and then you realize it’s all CF haha. Pretty cool way to do it imo.

I tried to swap some parts (plus cash if needed) with Hemlick before he sold it since I was a black B7 too, but he didn’t want to deal with the shipping etc.

its an add on spoiler attached by double sided tape

Its suppose to be the CF OEM DTM that is found on DTM package S4s
Reason I say its suppose to be is because it looks oem and fits nicely like OEM but I wasn’t the one to buy it originally so I can’t verify.

^any links, I think I like it, but I go back and forth every other week on whether I like the lip spoilers like that.
