I’m trying to tackle this issue on my a5. It happens when there’s movement in the rear suspension. I can bounce the suspension up and down and get it to creak loudly both ways. I inspected the rear end multiple times and can’t find anything obviously wrong. All of my bushings seem to be in tact, and every bolt for suspension & subframe are tight. I replaced the shocks, and lubed sway bar bushings with no effect. I also found a seized camber bolt for RR upper control arm, but I removed it and cleaned/lube everything, also no improvement. Anyone else deal with this before?
