Very possible at the strip. A tuned S6 should be making a clean 525 hp or thereabouts, and running 11.8-12.0 @ 118 or so (in the heat…better in the cool)
The m5/6 will struggle off the line and trap strong, but I can’t say I’ve seen too many get into the 11s. Or any.
edit: just noticed it’s that sciblades guy. Did he ever post his timeslips? thought he was claiming all kinds of crazy shit before. He’s a bit of a blowhard.
Also, congratulations. By pointing out someone’s irrational exuberance, you now hate their car. You don’t even own one, thus you know nothing. Welcome to my world lol.
Lol dude, you don’t even have the car and you haven’t seen the race and your just telling this guy hes lying when he said he did it on the track. Talk about a hater from the sidelines, maybe this guy is just a better driver than his buddy.
Also, why does sciblades need to ‘see what we can do this week’?
HE ALREADY FUCKING RAN THE GUY AT THE DRAGSTRIP!
Quote where he said it was at the strip, from a dig…then ask him why he needs to see what he can do with respect to making new runs happen. Just tell him to post those old timeslips.
I haven’t seen a slip but there was another member in that thread that mentioned seeing an S6 run 11’s. It certainly doesn’t prove anything so it is what it is. He was going back to Canada which is common for that time of year around here. I don’t think he’s completely full of it but his elusive ways give reason to doubt.
Look guys, he makes more power and boost than APR. How does he know this? Just a feeling. It’s in his gut. Remotely tuned by someone who’s never touched the car = better.
Arin I totally agree with you… Honestly I respect what you guys do and that’s why all my cars have been APR or GIAC because between the two of you guys you actually get your hands on these cars and do it right.
Unlike Unitronic and Revo and some other no name companies out there…
Thanks. If someone makes the S6 faster, or more power, then so be it. I don’t think it would be too hard at stage 1. Some of that will come down to where you draw the line in terms of safety I suppose. Now if we went “all out” on a decatted Stage 2 setup without any worries, for the sake of making more power than a competitor, it could be a fun exercise.
My only problem with what’s being said is it’s not backed up at all. We ran an S7 at the stip once. It’s heavier than the S6, was full interior, no other mods, 0 prep, driven to the track, run stock and chipped on a tank of 93 to show our customers a same day comparison of “real world” results. However, that said, our times and trap speeds both bested what he’s posted, yet he says his is faster?
What am I missing?
If he went faster, or did better, or whatever he sees fit, he’ll need to back that up with a little data.
Hear hear…now you have people so excited to talk about how they got helped when its no even close to that. From low life companys trying to sell pes blower guys a new tune to these jockstrap kids turning off half the ecu it’s starting to turn. Ugly. Then you have morons that think advancement is cheep china or bullshit knock off or the moms basement tuning squad selling untested junk.its been great to see them get rejected by the newer smarter brand of audi customers.
