Is the B8 crank pulley counter balanced? That’s the real question should be asking. The amount of weight isn’t nearly as important as the placement of the weight. This looks to be uniformly balanced. If the oem one is counterbalanced and the new one isn’t, the daily driving should be noticeable very quickly by vibration at lower RPM, and a kaboom after a couple thousand miles.
