lulz on other forums (current, not classics)

He’s definitely insecure because he has gone on this crusade to hate JHM and to troll them wherever possible, and less and less people are jumping aboard with him each time.

Further, when people show great results with JHM products, he can’t address the success and instead tries to detonate a flashbomb to distract from the facts.

If we were to talk about insecurity you could point to his 1/4 mile results. Here’s why

APR’s test car in Alabama went 11.15
DA -42 feet
LW wheels
Magnaflow catted downpipes
stock catback
stock interior
stock suspension

Flying Tomatoes went slower, at 11.28
DA -2000 feet
LW wheels
MTM catless downpipes
MTM catback
Euro LW interior
Stasis MS suspension

He had a much better modlist, and WAY better conditions, yet was a good chunk slower. He likes to boast that he’s the fastest customer driven RS4…but perhaps he should be quiet about that as it appears his driving (or his mods) appears to be holding him back.

And the next guy just read the post title and made assumptions about what was in the thread ::slight_smile:

I don’t understand…now he thinks JHM uses an H pipe and MTM uses an X pipe?

[quote=Flying Tomatoes]Based on that chart only (didn’t dig into the link yet, but I will at lunch) you could probably say that the JHM exhaust uses an H-Pipe because they favor the drag strip and down low day to day power vs a company like MTM (only using this example because they are both 2.75 and have different crossovers) which might have favored top end Autobahn like driving. Not that either is better, just different end goals.

I’m usually more polite online but I couldn’t resist:

The X-pipe is an H-Pipe. But the H-Pipe is not an X-pipe. The H-Pipe is just a sideways I-Pipe.

Got it?

His latest post about the “truly better option” is also confusing. By what standard? JHM’s exhaust sounds amazing and has proven gains in the 1/4 mile. What the hell else is FT looking for in an exhaust?

Not even Westwest can approach the troll status of this guy.

Then what’s a straight pipe? :stuck_out_tongue:

LOL. Ok someone else can take over that thread now. “Am I missing something”

Wow, the RS4 section is fucking useless over there

Flying Tomatoes now wants the testing data companies did when designing their exhaust. Sure dickhead. I’m sure that’s how all businesses work. They allow everyone to dig through their R&D and show them how to do it. Hell, why not just give them creative commons over your design and let them copy you!

What a fucking retard.

The solution for optimal power and fantastic sound on the B7 Rs4 is

2.75" diameter
X pipe (shallow) in an optimal location
straight through, perforated core mufflers

One company found this out by doing testing on their in house RS4 (the only company that actually owns one), and using testing facilities they have access to at Ford SVT and Roush. JHM. One problem with their design was that 2.75" pipe is expensive in high grade stainless. Another reason other companies, if they did come to the 2.75" conclusion, avoided it. Hurts margins.

The other companies? For the most part, they threw something together without doing much performance based research at all, other than how to fleece a bunch of fat middle aged men out of thousands of dollars in the fastest way possible. They basically made replicas of the stock catback, and charged $2500-3000 for them. Examples of that include MILLTEK, GMG (both bad diameter, both terrible jagged bends), Capristo (terrible diameter to the max…2.25" for a V8 at 8200 RPM lol. Oh and $5000). Two other companies happened upon 2.75" but MTM for some reason went with some sharper than necessary bends, as well as an H pipe inexplicably, and charged $5,000. The other was EBwerks who were the smartest of the non-JHM companies to make an RS4 exhaust…they just copied JHM right down to the muffler model from Sebring. of course this shows they’re morally and ethically bankrupt, and the expose of the one partner BenSTI reveals that. They are also now out of the business, but you get the idea.

And an x-pipe is a sideways…wait… it’s still an x

mind = blown

Ok, so this is what annoys the ever living shit out of me! Flyingtrollbag doesn’t skip a beat commenting negatively or “asking question about data” in any thread about a JHM product. But he doesn’t have the intelligence or maybe the testicular fortitude to comment on the POS “PES” whipple that this guy is asking about for his RS4.

Nothing but a dyno, without even a stock dyno for comparison, in that thread he linked!

If yor going to be an annoying dickhead, at least be fucking consistent. Posts like this show how clueless and out of touch he truly is, yet he claims to demand reposes to better the community from a company like JHM…who has done nothing but GIVE to the community.

Let’s get his account approved here so he can explain bullshit like this.

^^ his claim to have signed up here is more bullshit.
