Rushed the release? The kits been out for ages at this point. The hardware is great. The software is great. It makes great power and is amazing to drive. People buy it all the time and enjoy it! It does what we say it does and that’s about it. Heck, you can even log one and see it’s calibrated correctly. Look at load. Look at the fuel trims. Check out ignition advance, air fuel rations, cam phasing, etc. do it at WOT or part throttle, it doesn’t matter. It’s calculating everything correctly. We spent months dialing it in and it’s impressive.

As for Meem, he changed a critical component with an incorrect part. That has nothing to do with our kit. Likewise, if someone runs the engine without oil, and the engine blows, it’s no ones fault but their own.

As far as any of the stupid internet arguments over whose kit is better, I couldn’t give less fucks, especially when it involves people calling each other “faggots.” It really can’t get more boring and lame than that.

I’m a bit confused about the Steve comment as well. He’s a customer. He has a great car so we’ve put it in our booth at shows. Other than Instagram, I don’t follow his posts. However, saying he trolls others so it’s ok for your and others to lie about our kit is quite a big logical fallacy.

When you see a JHM car beat a revo 2.0T car by 3 buss lengths or how about the older videos of the 4.2 GIAC Vs JHM side by side pulls where the JHM car pulls several cars on the GIAC tuned car. Not to say GIAC is bad in that case the best money for the 4.2 tune was the JHM. These companys pray on people looking to spend the least and making it sound like they will get the most. We all know how much better some companyes are then others. These guys get sold on a sales pitch they should be looking at the track record and unederstanding that giving money to JHM in the 3.0 market is going to end up meaning more parts for there cars in the long run. So getting a JHM tune is not only better more researched and going to be there in 5 years while these flyby night shops wont. They are not just getting a tune from JHM they are getting to invest in there own platform. JHM likes to keep putting money into the platforms that keep bringing in money.

Not sure what your obsession is with me today but I’m flattered. You know what they say about those who don’t do…

We can only remotely diagnose the situation, but we we do know are bad / incorrect / unknown ebay injectors were installed and the engine never ran right during that time. When the injectors were swapped it ran better. The wiring harness damage was addressed after the motor swap iirc. If an injector fails, even on stock software, it has the ability to result in the other injectors on that bank working overtime to satisfy the prescribed air fuel ratio. This can wash the the cylinder walls and damage the motor, even at idle.

To be fair. I think there was a lot of issues that would have been created by AMD asking someone to take apart the kit to take measurements so they would have data on your kit. To be If you know what your doing you don’t need to ask how your competitor did it and frankly would never ask this. Then from the sound of it the same people that were taking aprt the kit to give information to AMD were also the ones that recommended the injecor change.

My thoughts here are some of the issues come from the attempt on FlyingTomato to talk incorrectly about anyone. When Flyingtomato starts questing other companys products with whats just made up stuff to cause issues that causes others to look directly back at him his car and his kit. If its an envirement of made up issues and wild speculation that Flytomatos is creating others are just playing along.

Arin I know you didn’t have anything to do with this. WE ALL KNOW THAT. But when someone that is kinda labiled as a spoaksman for APR starts talking incorrectly and slinging mud because he wants to just make up stuff it is almost aloways going to end up coming back onto APR. Everytime there are issues like this it seems to me the fire got started by FlyingTomatos.

Just think about it. It’s not like these guys didn’t know about meems motor before FlyingTomato started making up stuff and trying to attack a guy with products other then APR. Nobody said anything or started an issue untill FlyingTomato started or should I say continued in on his issues withother companys

These guys are so weird. Mike tsao, whoever the fuck he is, is flapping on Facebook the AMD hp kit is making 600 whp. Even though they dyno less than 500… Confirmed by AMD themselves various times.

Then you have flying potato in a roll race event saying his car makes 620 whp+… Even though again e have seen it might make 500 on a great day.

I’m on board, if there is a company that isn’t taking care of customers or doing serious damage to the industry, someone should say something. When you see countless posts on how happy people are with their JHM tune and then you see a beautiful RS4 avant customer post and say how happy he is, it destroys the empty argument that these guys try to prop up. What’s one step better when the guy asks about the tune, the customer responds with just how great his car is. Why? Because, the only ones unhappy about the JHM tune are the ones that never got it.
