Anyone notice the aggressive fire sale on RS4 parts at Mick’s house? In the past few weeks he has sold off most of the wheel sets he had, and has kept just the $900 cheap ones. He also sold his race seats in a fire sale selloff, costing him a couple of grand.
Then we know he removed his ebworks exhaust and reinstalled his stock exhaust, claiming he did so to preserve the eb unit (yeah, everyone worries about how parts that are underneath the car look lol). I wouldn’t be shocked if he had quietly sold it to someone from the forums.
Maybe he’s short on cash and is hoping he’ll be able to buy another ebworks next year so as to avoid egg-on-face (if there’s even room for anymore egg on his very large, very round, egg laden face)

You know thankfully for us B8 owners we have Auditude and his unbeatable shifting abilities(#308) and his relentless pursuit of testing these cars like no one else… Never mind Voltron spending money for us to determine the piggie didn’t work, Richi being the first to try headers, circuit tested doing his thing, etc. No one comes close to his drive and desire to test these cars… Still no 1/4 mile times from his car though… hmm…

I just read that farmer bob thread. Honestly, I see a lot of people like farmer bob everyday, big personal issues and obviously huge chips on their shoulders. I feel sorry for people like that. I have no idea who BenSti is, sorry, but to someone new reading the thread he handled himself with class and didn’t resort to stupidities. I know nothing about either, obviously, but if BenSti is only 21, I mean jeez, give him a break, people grow up (and others don’t, like this bob). I see a lot of people trashing kids for the kid-like things they do or have done (ie auditude vs PaperishPlastic in the vbox thread), I just laugh and realize they’re kids…doesn’t everyone else?

BenSTI is a moron, plain and simple. Sure he blew 5 motors on his Subaru STi because he’s a moron kid. All the power to him. But when he then blew his RS4 engine…and then tried to blame it on JHM (all while starting an exhaust company to compete with JHM for exhaust parts) he lost all credibility.
He further lost credibility when the company he started by copying JHM parts gave him the boot.
There is far more behind the story jSpazz, and when you admit you know nothing about the situation, you should probably learn the facts before saying farmerbob just has a chip on his shoulder. FarmerBob is an asset to the forums, a really good guy. He saw a lying scumbag trying to hurt the reputation of a company he was about to knock off, and he addressed it. Lol saki. Well giving you my opinion on this thread posted, as to what it looks like to someone like me seeing this. I don’t like you drawing lines in the sand, kinda pointless. All Ben said is he’d do it for him, and he got assaulted, but took it well and didn’t have a cow - but farmer bob decided to publish the guy’s name and address (which is pretty cowardly of himself - actually a total douchebag thing to do)… That is actually more of a crime than anything bob charged, you may know, but Im sure you think bob was fully justified because Ben is the douchebag because he tried to screw JHM.
Anyway if something different happened in that thread I must have missed it.
If people remembered all the things I did before I was 21 and used it against me, I’d have problems, and I’m sure a lot of people here would too…:-). You should let go once in a while, give people a chance to turn around.
At the risk of not conforming to AR standards and causing a riot… I’m really not sure why people get their panties in a bunch defending JHM all day. They are big boys, I’m sure they can handle their own problems. People accuse the APR fanboys on AZ, but I see more rabid folk when it comes to JHM. I own 1 APR item, I speak my experiences and make informed comments, yet somehow I get called an APR fanboy. Kinda childish.
I cant speak for anyone else, but for me defending JHM has multiple facets.
- Their products have never failed me
- Their products are track proven. I have witnessed first hand 90% of everything JHM has developed / built. (thats where i step in when people call out their products as a scam)
- I have met and gotten to know everyone who works at / for/ with JHM. All stand up folks who i call friends. (who wouldnt stand up for a friend?)
- Unlike popular belief, everything said about JHM is not always good. They have faults / growing pains as a company. Unlike people defending say PES / VF… we never tried to hide those facts. In fact we are often the ones who bring these forward … not with the intent to hurt the company but to give constructive criticism to help them grow.
Now that im done typing this we can go have supper then fuck my wife! ;D
